ExpoCook was launched for the first time in 2017.

The fair is dedicated to the world of Ho.Re.Ca. in its broader sense, high quality food&beverage, professional equipment, hotels, tourism and related areas.

Each edition has recorded a constant growth, and the event is now well appreciated in the Italian business environment.

The art of cooking, in all its forms, in t

he name of food and wine excellence, is the undisputed protagonist, during four intense days (2020 edition).

ExpoCook usually takes place in the area of the Mediterranean Fair, in Palermo, the capital of Sicily, at the heart of the Mediterranean Sea.

In the 2020 edition, the fair had over 230 exhibitors, in 25 thousand square meters of covered area, divided into 11 thematic sectors and 8 pavilions. Numerous events, seminars, masterclasses, cooking shows dedicated to Milk Art, Cake Design, Pizza, Ice Cream, Oils, Craft Beers, Spirits and Mixology, Wines, and a focus on vegan cuisine with the first Seminar in the World organized by WorldChefs in collaboration with the Italian Federation of Chefs, entertained 36,850 visitors with tastings, round tables, workshops, talks, addressed not only to professional operators, but also to an increasingly large audience of F&B enthusiasts.


Due to the current conditions, the 2021 edition of ExpoCook will be fully virtual, and set the base for the 2022 hybrid edition.

Participation in ExpoCook Online will give attending companies the opportunity to increase visibility, sales, find new partners: resellers, suppliers, distributors, investors. The event will boast dedicated commercial presentations, quality Cooking Shows with the presence of young Chefs, but also “Michelin stars”.

Expocook grows and moves online, it does not leave its audience.

In 2022 it will hopefully return as a physical event, when the safety conditions and regulations will make it possible: in 2022. However, this does not mean forgetting the positive aspects acquired through the opportunity to create our first online appointment in 2021.

THE FUTURE FOR US WILL BE HYBRID!

Expocook 2022 will keep a strong digital component, and the event will keep the possibility of having a dedicated area for online and physical B2B meetings between Sicilian and Italian companies with foreign buyers, managed entirely online.
