From the experience of the fair - restaurant business exhibition – ExpoCook launched the ExpoCook Academy https://expocookacademy.com/ a high-level training centre for professionals and enthusiasts of food & beverage who want to expand their knowledge, thanks to masters and trainers of national and international level. It is a place to meet and exchange knowledge, bringing the best professionals in every area of the culinary art to Sicily to ensure maximum satisfaction of the attendees.

The climate of interaction within the Academy, and the wish to grow, fostered new ideas and projects among the various professionals involved.

The period preceding Christmas 2020 generated a moment of confrontation on the art of pastry, bread making and great leavened products, which led to a new experiment on “panettone” sweet bread.

Thanks to highly skilled experts, several training sessions and attempts to achieve the best results, the Academy launched a new artisanal “panettone” of the highest quality, made using the best raw materials from Sicily and cutting-edge equipment.

This is how Gran Reale panettone comes to life, a new artisanal product that does not fear comparison with other historical brands. A product that was born under a lucky star - the Christmas one - and immediately achieved significant appreciation by consumers who had the opportunity to taste it. This prompted the Academy to focus on the production of other great leavened products, such as the “Easter Dove”. The next step is oriented towards the production of artisanal gluten-free biscuits, inspired by the need from a constantly growing market and the collaboration with AIC (Italian Celiac Association) Sicily.

Recently, Expocook Group designed and launched an e-commerce site www.exposicilyfood.com , to promote Sicilian food and beverage excellences and the best culinary culture all over the world.
